Denmark's Crown Princess once again proved her style credentials when she took in a catwalk show in the Danish capital. Wearing a vibrant olive dress and cropped brown jacket, the pretty royal took a front row seat at one of Copenhagen Fashion Week's many runway events.
Unsurprisingly, there were just as many eyes on the VIP guest as there were following the models on the catwalk. But Mary was at ease with the attention, taking time to chat with the models and designers after the display had come to an end.
That the princess likes to stay abreast of the latest trends is no great secret, and the 33-year-old certainly seems intent on keeping her finger on the pulse, because it was her second trip to CFW in a week. Just seven days ago the fashionistas at another show were delighted to see the popular royal, who was voted Most Elegant Woman of 2004 by our readers, making an appearance.
Mary's presence will no doubt have attracted some welcome publicity to her adoptive homeland's International Fashion Fair. While CFW isn't in quite the same league as the corresponding events in New York and Paris, organisers are confident that local designers starting to make their mark. "We just held a cultural event called Superdanish, where people really got a taste for Denmark," explained one international trade representative. "There is a lot of attention focused on Denmark right now."
