POL-JORDAN-IRAQ-BLASTS Jordanian King condemns terrorist blasts in Iraq
AMMAN, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- Jordanian King Abdullah II condemned on Friday the terrorist blasts in Iraq over the past two days that led to killing and injuring scores of Iraqis.
In a press release, Jordan's Royal Court said the monarch expressed his condemnation through a cable to Iraq's President Jalal Talabani, affirming Jordan's absolute support for Iraq.
Over 100 Iraqis were killed and about 200 others injured due to the blasts.
Jordan's king is currently on a brief private visit to Saudi Arabia. (end) mms.
